Felix J. Williams enlisted August 15, 1862, at Iredell County, N.C., as a private (18 years old) and was mustered into Company K, NC 37th Infantry, Branch’s Brigade, A.P. Hill’s Division, 2nd Army of Northern Virginia. He was killed in action at Chancellorsville, Va., May 3, 1863.
