Emma Wootten Patterson May (b. 25 Jan 1833 d. 8 Jan 1913). She and her second husband are buried in Soule Chapel Cemetery, between Brooksville and Macon in Noxubee County, Miss. She first married William H. H. Patterson who died 26 FEB 1856. She married William A. May (1833-1878) on 20 JAN 1863. With May, she had seven children.
