Scarce pair of Confederate Texas covers from addressee’s sister – only family chit chat and no mention of the political situation of the time.$425.

Martha F. Wiswell (1832-1911) was born to Joseph Warren Wiswell and Martha True Wiswell. She had nine siblings, some of whom served in the Army during the war. Lynchburg, Texas, was in Harris County north of Galveston.
