Particularly nice use of both lithographed issues. $550.

Adams, A. A. (Asbury Arnold), 1828-1889, Captain. During the Civil War, Adams served in the Home Guard of Americus. Adams was a delegate of the Agricultural Society of Sumter County to the 1877 Agricultural Convention at Milledgeville. He was a cotton factor after the war. Over the years, Adams and his family occupy several grand homes in Americus
