He married Sarah Michaels about 25 Jul 1825. He married Judith "Catherine" Watkins 03 Oct 1844. She was born 17 Aug 1820 in Chesterfield Co., VA, and died 07 Nov 1893 in Chesterfield Co., VA. She was the daughter of Francis Watkins and Martha Hill.
