CSA #12, 10¢ blue, four large margins, tied by "Richmond, Va. Aug 24" cds on cover to "Capt C.P.J. Hansom(?), Genl Hospital Fair Grounds, Petersburg, Virginia"; there were six different hospitals in Petersburg during the War. Research on this would no doubt be interesting, bit reduced at left.
