William E.B. Fraser (1824-1903) enlisted at Charleston on December 28, 1861, as a private, mustering into Co. E, SC 19th Infantry. He was from Bishopville, SC. Detailed to hospital duty as a nurse on various assignments during the war by order of General Bragg, such as Foard Hospital Chattanooga, Academy Hospital Marietta Ga., Foard Hospital at Marietta, hospital in Atlanta, etc. Name sometimes seen as Fraiser or Frasier.
