William Bullock Inge, Jr. (1848-1917) was a widely known and influential citizen. He was a member of the state senate from Hale County for many years. Inge was a graduate of Southern University, Greensboro. He was chairman of the school boards of Greensboro and Hale county and was an officer and stockholder in the First National Bank of Greensboro. He was successful in business affairs, and was prominently connected.
