FEB 17 (1862) circular datestamp on light orange-brown lithographed Virginia Military Institute all-over illustrated college cover with Standing Liberty and "Sic Semper Tyrannis" slogan (CSA Catalog type VA-19b); addressed to John B. Cocke Esq., Belmead Mills Powhatan, Va., stamp is defective with tiny portions torn away and lower right corner replaced, otherwise Very Fine, with 2004 CSA certificate.
