Thomas Boone Fraser Sr. (1825-1900) from Sumter SC enlisted as a Captain and Assistant Quartermaster in the Confederate Quartermaster’s Department, 9th South Carolina Brigade, Longstreet’s Division, Potomac District of the Army of Northern Virginia. Also shown as Quartermaster of 8th Regiment SC Reserves. He was a lawyer and a judge. His son and namesake (1860-1925) was an associate justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court.
