Cook, Camp Parole Annapolis Maryland in care Lieutenant Hathaway Co D, 106 Reig NYSV” with regimental receiving mark “HEU VELTON / JULY 27 1863 / N.V.”, irregular reduction at left. CSA Catalog PAR-01 with CCV of $300. Harrison lists only 25 covers known from Camp Parole. [MD] [NY] $250.

Robert R. Cook was 23 years old when he enlisted as a private at Lisbon, NY info Co. D NY 106 Infantry. He was mustered out on 6-16-65 at Washington, D.C. (Military Orderly at Finley Hospital). He was listed as a prisoner of war at 4-2-63 at Fairmont Va and shown as paroled the same day.
