Thomas C. Madison, Confederate Surgeon, originally served in the U.S. Army as of February 27, 1840. He was post surgeon at Fort Riley April 1858. Hailing from Virginia, he resigned from federal service August 17, 1861, and was surgeon for the CSA 1861-1865. He died November 7, 1866.
